Gingham is a HUGE trend right now and I was sold the minute I saw this dress! I love the detail on the sleeves and the cute bows in the back. It is such a steal at less than $20 and it even comes in a cute blue/white striped option if you’re not into the gingham trend. You also have to snag these sandals from Target. They are an amazing dupe for the Steve Madden sandals and less than half the price!! Such an amazing deal! I had been looking for new sandals but wasn’t willing to pay more than $30, so I am so glad I found these!!
I think I’ve got enough casual tops in my wardrobe to keep me covered for months. I even purchased two more during the Nordstrom Sale!! However, when I’m needing to get ready for a night out with the girls, date night, or an event – I have no idea what to wear! I’m just staring at my closet wondering how I can style that one top I always wear any differently. So I decided that I just need to add more dressy tops as well as dresses to my closet. I kept seeing this top around in several colors, so I knew it would be a perfect addition to my closet!
It has such great detailing with the ruffle sleeves and hem, and it is also longer on the sides which is a fun detail! It also comes in several different colors. This top, paired with my favorite blue heels, and I am ready for a night out!
Many of you may not know, but I work full time at a non-profit travel company (with my husband! It’s seriously the best!!) If you’re like me and have to dress up for work everyday, you may know the struggle of finding work outfits. I pretty much wear the same thing every day to keep it simple! I wear either a blouse with these black pants or a dress. Since I wear black pants everyday, I find myself needing more and more blouses. I came across this one from SheIn and was sold! I love the color and I’m constantly drawn to this long sleeve, flowy style.
Also can we talk about these shoes for a minute? My mom got me obsessed with them when we were in Chicago for a wedding this April and I was not looking forward to wearing the shoes I brought all night because of how uncomfortable they were. These are from Target and they’re less than $30!! Can you believe it?! I now have them in the black and tan and I wear these several times a week as well.
It’s quickly transitioning out of sweater weather here in Dallas but we still have our occasionally chilly days. I wore this sweater this past weekend at my bestie’s wedding shower. It’s the perfect sweater to dress up and down and it’s very lightweight. Here’s to wishing we could wear sweaters all year long.
If you’re like me, you have a ton of spring and summer weddings coming up and you’re having to invest in a few new dresses. I tend to gravitate toward black dresses so I don’t accidentally match the bridesmaids. Haha anyone else?! And you can also dress it up with different color heels and earrings. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. I love that it isn’t form fitting so you can stuff your mouth with cake and food and I always love a good ruffle. I say two thumbs up for this dress!!
This sweater is too cute right?! I’m so obsessed with the fringe detail. Still obsessing with these jeans, I wear them every chance I get!! Dallas readers, have ya’ll been to Bird Bakery yet?? It’s adorable!! Husband and I ventured out this weekend and grabbed a vanilla latte to go (amazing!!). They have so many pastry and dessert options. It’s a definite must try!
We had a big cold front move through Dallas these past few days so it’s time to break out the boots, scarves, and coats again. I’m telling ya, I feel like I forget every year how crazy Texas weather is! It was just in the 70s on Monday and now I’m freezing again. But I welcome the cold weather with open arm. PLEASE SWOW FRIDAY! I told my friend that we needed to do a snow dance. I don’t even know what that would be, but we’re doing it. If it doesn’t snow this winter here, I told my husband we are going to Canada in March because I NEED the snow! Crazy snow lady part of one.
Anyways, these over-the-knee boots strike again. They are one of my favorite purchases of 2016! I can’t believe how great a price they were and they are still available in all sizes. So if you haven’t snagged these babies, now is the time! I got this scarf for Christmas from my brother and I am obsessed. It is on sale for $14 right now! What even. Such a great deal. You guys know I’m all about the sales. So everyone buy these boots and this scarf and do your snow dances for Friday with me. Too much peer pressure? Oh well, I’m desperate.
Go buy this coat now!! It is under $60 and so so warm! Dallas has been really cold the past few days. Like in the teens! We went from 70 degrees on Friday and dramatically dropped within a few hours. That’s Texas for you. I’ve been wearing this coat all weekend and wore it in a different color in New York last weekend and I stayed so warm!!
I wore this look to brunch with my husband and parents this weekend. If you’re in the Dallas area, you need to check out Coffee House Cafe. It is so so good. They have a signature latte that is to die for!
Happy Friday friends! I hope ya’ll have some great weekend plans! I am going bridesmaid dress shopping with my besties and then to a wedding! So sorry I’ve been a little MIA on the blog and Instagram. We recently moved offices so we’re having a harder time finding picture locations and missing the convenience of working right on the square in McKinney. I’ve also been sick for basically the entire month of October!! I swear, this fall/winter is already not looking good for this girl.
Anywho, can we just admire these boots for a moment?! I talked about them a few weeks ago on my Fall Must Haves post and I finally bought them this weekend!! Husband basically forced me to because I was still debating. Can you believe these are only $50??!! I had to look at the price tag several times before I believed it. They look EXACTLY like the designer ones! I love them with this olive dress! It’s just now starting to get colder in Dallas and this is the perfect transition look in my opinion.
Have I mentioned how much I love fall? I know you probably get annoyed hearing that but I seriously love everything about it. The clothes (duh), the candles, the colors, the weather!! The fact that I wasn’t sweating while taking these pictures is amazing to me!! My closet has way too many scarves and I always get at least one more every season, but they are the perfect accessory to complete any outfit. And these heels are too good. The perfect color for a fall shoe. Sorry not sorry, if you see way too many sweaters, blanket scarves, and flannels for the next few months.
